Track Record

We are the largest and fastest growing provider of HR services in the UK with the widest breadth and depth of capability of any UK provider. As the first provider to take on complex HR BPO in Local Government in 1998, we have built on our early success and are now the largest provider of complex multiple HR services in the local government market. Our references demonstrate we have delivered on our financial and service improvements in all of these key accounts - underpinned by a partnering approach which means our relationship is not driven by change control. In the last 5 years we have invested circa £10M in service transformation and continuous service improvement whilst achieving significant and sustainable cost savings to clients (e.g. a 33% saving to Southampton City Council (SCC) and 30% savings for the BBC) at the same time as improving service performance.

We have a track record of innovation in service delivery – the first to use Microsoft CRM, using innovative, multi-media channels for recruitment (e.g. the BBC’s Project North recruitment campaign) and recognising the culture change required through development of the Management Academy (a business-focussed blended learning programme). Working in partnership means that we are committed to ‘going the extra mile’ (e.g. achieving the payroll provider of the year award in 2008 for our work with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council (BwDBC)). We have taken that learning forward from one client to the next and benefited from innovations with our other 5000 clients across Integrated HR Solutions.

We can provide all, or component parts of an organisation’s HR service requirements either as an integrated service offering or stand-alone services delivered through Centres of Excellence. We operate shared service centres (SSC’s) across the UK ranging from a large investment bank supported from our SCC in Edinburgh to our 500-seat SCC in Belfast. In the public sector we provide HR Administration services to almost 120000 employees; payroll for over 135000 employees; casework support for almost 60000 employees and services to 1170 schools.
