Andrew Buggy
Solutions Director

Andrew took the role of Solutions Director in 2009. In this role Andrew is focused on supporting the growth of the business.

Andrew has been with Capita since 1998 and began his worked in a variety of operational, transition/transformation programme management and business development roles. Andrew has played a key role in securing over £260 million in new HR BPO business for Capita. His main focus today is on leading a core team working with clients to build their business cases for BPO and service transformation.

Previous to working for Capita Andrew worked in local government and the private sector as an HR professional.

Ann Southworth
HR Solutions Bid Director

Ann was appointed Bid Director in June 2007 having joined Capita in 2003. Ann is responsible for solutions design for ‘Big Ticket’ bids and led the HR & Payroll workstream as part of the successful Sheffield City Council strategic partnership bid and previously on the Southampton City Council and Swindon Borough Council bids. Ann led the team through bid to successful transition. Ann is also responsible for providing expertise to deliver operational service transformation across the full range of HR and Payroll services provided. Ann has also led a number of strategic projects including off-shoring processes for Capita’s internal HR and Payroll Service. Throughout her career in Capita, Ann has been responsible for operational service delivery including service delivery to public and private sector clients.

Prior to joining Capita Ann worked in organisational and leadership development roles for Lancaster University and has 18 years experience in Local Government.

Alyson Baxter
Solutions Consultant

Aly joined Capita in 2008 as a Customer Relationship Manager on the BBC HR Direct contract. In May 2010 Aly moved to the Business Development team to work on product development and new prospects.

In her CRM role at the BBC, Aly worked alongside the HR Directors, Heads of HR and HR Development Managers across a variety of BBC Divisions including the Nations and Regions. A key area of Aly’s role was to identify feedback from client areas where improvements and change needed to be implemented to enhance the level of service and to ensure delivery of KPIs and service delivery standards were achieved. Aly also took on additional project roles, including:

• Key client liaison point for central HR team including escalations, and business as usual improvement updates
• Joint BBC/HR Direct Process Simplification Project looking at process improvement
• Supporting the restructuring of the Senior HR Advisory role
• Facilitation of the re-design of the Recruitment Service

Before joining Capita, Aly worked in a Business Partner role, specialising in Organisational Development within the retailer Fat Face. Aly also spent a number of years with Barclays HR Shared Service Centre playing a key role in the transition from Regional HR teams to the HR Shared Service Centre. Aly is a qualified coach and has achieved Fellow status within CIPD.
