Shared Service

HR Shared Services

We have been implementing shared service centres for over 12 years. Initially focussing on 1st generation HR Shared Service Centre design, we co-located teams and undertook BPR to ensure services were delivered end-to-end. Our standard approach is based on the Ulrich model  with increasing take-up of online services as innovation drives automation.

We believe Shared Services bring extensive benefits, including the centralisation of HR functions, the opportunity to cross-skill employees, joining services into end-to-end processes and culminating in seamless service delivery for the end user.

We have built new Shared Service Centres on greenfield sites including the largest HR SSC in the UK at our site in Belfast, and have taken transferred 1st and 2nd generation SSC’s to the next level of innovation.

What do we mean by Shared Services?

Our SSC’s are both multi-functional and multi-client. We work across function in our Partnership contracts to achieve end-to-end services for clients. Our multiple client-base benefits from a robust business sustainability model, cross skilling off-set by direct client relationship management from centralised locations.

What is our typical scope?

Every client is unique. We will mix and match services to meet the requirements of each specific case. Frequently this means integrated Payroll and HR Administration including contact and query resolution, recruitment, pre-employment screening and benefits administration. For some clients this also extends to Employee Relations Case Management and policy development services.

Our is service designed around our customers

Although we may support multiple organisations, we manage each client as individuals, placing their Line Managers and employee experience at centre of our delivery model.

We use technology as enabler, bringing services to your fingertips and streamlining processes:
