HR & Payroll Transactional Administration

Our fully managed HR and Payroll Administration service incorporates all aspects of HR and payroll administration including data entry of starters and leavers, permanent and temporary data, payroll and BACS processing, payslip printing and production of all output files and interfaces and annual tax year end processes. We serve 3 million client employees and pensioners in the UK and Ireland and our HR Shared Service Centres manage 26 million enquiries a year

With the shift to more flexible working and the need for creative solutions to capturing and manage HR and payroll data, along with a general move to automation via self service, we have developed the capability for clients to use IVR technology to capture variable payroll and HR data. This approach is currently being deployed as part of our service to the Office of National Statistics (ONS) where we will recruit and pay up to 35,000 staff who will be working on the Census 2011. These staff will be on the streets of the UK gathering Census data and, rather than manual completion of a timesheet, they will be able to use a telephone to record timesheet data and expenses data which managers authorise via self-service with an automatic feed into payroll.
