The report examines the relationship between finance and HR departments in UK businesses, the biggest people-related challenges facing finance departments today, and the people-led issues businesses believe will have the greatest priority over the coming 12 months.
How closely do your finance and HR teams actually work together? Our latest research found that more than half of Finance Directors (59%) work closely with their HR teams. However, when it comes to priorities, just 16% of finance directors see absenteeism as a high priority for the business and less than a quarter (21%) rank employee benefits as a priority.
Is this because organisations already have great levels of attendance and employee benefits that people truly value? Or is there perhaps a lack of understanding about the relationship between human cost and value to the business - and therefore an opportunity for greater collaboration?
